Roselle orthodontics care, you will be seen by one of our expert orthodontists, just one of whom is Dr. Jacob Plawner. Many of our patients come to our office wanting to have their teeth straightened using Invisalign because it will allow them to have their orthodontic work performed in an extremely discreet manner. Patients who use Invisalign are able to attend school, work, and social gatherings without ever needing to be seen wearing braces. However, not all patients are good candidates for this treatment. Our orthodontist will need to thoroughly assess your bite situation to determine whether or not your teeth can be straightened using these clear plastic aligners. Invisalign treatment can be an extremely effective teeth straightening option for both teens and adults. Once it is found that you are a good candidate for treatment using Invisalign, CAD/CAM computer technology will be used to create your individualized set of aligners. Your set of aligners will have anywhere between 15 and 45 aligners in it, depending on the bite problem being fixed. Each aligner is worn for two weeks, and will slowly move your teeth into position for the next aligner in the series. Once the last aligner has been worn, you will have your beautiful new smile! Treatment with Invisalign takes about the same amount of time as treatment with traditional metal braces. Our patients find that the aligners are extremely comfortable since they do not contain any metal parts, and patients can eat anything they want during treatment since the clear plastic aligners are removed during meals.
